Art To My Door

One of the things I love most about my friends is discovering all the unique gifts and talents we each have to bring to the table. One of my friends, Isela is a wonderful art teacher! I have a group of friends who often get together and this time Isela brought an art lesson to my door with her kids!

First, she started off with a book for all the kids to identify hidden shapes in pictures. This group of kids ranged from
ONE

to
THREE

to
Almost FOUR

and FIVE

The children started by using pastels to draw circles.
(this little guy got to use the teacher’s model)
Then they used another color to continue drawing circles to the outer line of their paper.

Then they carefully used a q-tip mix the colors…

Lastly, they painted with watercolors around the individual squares….

creating their own personal masterpiece!
