SNOW DAY!

Zachariah woke up this morning and said “Its Christmas!” We came downstairs to find a beautiful blanket of pure white snow covering our front and back yard.

I quickly looked on some of my favorite blogs for a day of winter fun ideas! I have now posted these favorite sites on the right hand side of my blog. I am so thankful to these ladies for sharing their creative mind with me:)

Daddy took the boys out for some quick snow play by about 7:45 AM. 

Not sure if this programming was on purpose or not for our area but the Imagination Movers were solving a problem today about their Snow Day!

 

Next, we took some Q-tips and white paint and painted a snow picture.

Before lunch, and Moms out there let me tell you…this occupied their little minds for about 45 minutes…they LOVED it. We brought the snow indoors…with SHAVING CREAM!

They were cracking me up, they heard the morning news on this morning and started adding their cars to their “inside snow” telling each other “He is stuck in traffic” I guess they decided they needed Tow Mater to help out this poor car!

And let me just say that Little Miss, wouldn’t have anything to do with this activity! This is a shot of her trying to get up from the table. Too funny!

I was able to get lunch made while they were playing with their inside snow. Then we all settled down for a long winters nap! (Well 2 hours anyway)

After nap, we went to the park to play and ran into lots of friends. I love living in a community where you run into people you know on fun days!

 

After our fun at the park we hurried home for SNOWMAN SOUP!

However, I was unable to convince the kids it was anything other than Hot Chocolate:(

This has been the most fun day I have had with the kids in a long time!

And lets all be grateful to our Heavenly Father today for cleansing our sins White As Snow!
