Soccer Saturdays!

The Rules of Soccer Are Very Simple….If it moves…kick it. If it doesn’t move….kick it until it does!

Well both boys are playing soccer this season! Our season with Levi started off on a rocky foot when I took him to the soccer field to play on a 40 degree day with a wind chill of about 0…..with no coat or anything to put on under his uniform. I know Mom of the Year Right? Lucky for me we are on a team of parents who actually know what they are doing…and had Levi nice and toasty within a few minutes with extra clothes they had bagged!  Since that cold day, Levi has really had a hard time “getting into the game" I am trying to find the balance between making him finish the season,respecting his bent and making sure we give the bent enough time to develop.
Today’s warm ups went well….He IS STANDING!

Celebrating Our Soccer Star!!

Go Team USA! Zachariah has had an AMAZING soccer season. We celebrated the season tonight with his team over cookies, cupcakes and pizza!

Precious Soccer Star

I am almost an official “Soccer Mom.” Zachariah’s first real soccer practice is tomorrow. In prep for this very important event he has been practicing in the back yard a lot lately. Here are some shots I got of his practice today! I know I am his mom, but I think we’ve got a STAR on our hands:)

Soccer Tots

Today the boys started soccer! Which makes me an official “soccer mom” They had a blast. There are only 4 players on their team, but a great beginning for me to see if this is a sport they will be interested in. From the looks of things today, they are interested! The coach had them moving for almost a whole hour.
