Sensory Tub Reading

Today is the 8th day I have been homebound with my Triple Smiles. The first 4 were due to flu, strep, and fever. The last 4 have been due to the crazy weather in the DFW area. Local schools have now been closed for the 4th day in a row. I jokingly put on face book the status of  “Triple Smiles School of Discovery will not be closed due to weather. We will also not take additional students from nearby schools who may have closed.”  Although we have watched more TV than normal the past week…we have still had lots of learning time! This fun sensory tub activity was tons of fun and took a span of about 2 hours. This morning I had the idea of having Zachariah “build” the scenes to match his leveled reader this week.
