Zachariah’s 6th Birthday

To Celebrate Zachariah’s 6th Birthday we planned a class field trip to Safety Town.
After some 911 practice, they turned the kindergarteners loose in safety town to drive!


After some Safety Town fun, we headed out for some Ice Cream Fun!


This was a super fun time with his Kindergarten Class Friends!

Where did the last 5 years go? It just doesn’t seem that long ago my sweet neighbor came over to my house at midnight to take this picture,so we could share with our friends and family as soon as possible that God has finally heard our cry for a baby!

As a Mommy..(and educator!) I want Zachariah to be as excited as possible about starting kindergarten! We started by calling Chelle Cates Photograpy for an amazing Back To School Special she IS STILL advertising! 


Chelle is an AMAZING child photographer! She is relaxed….and super patient with each child. She has a laid back personality that attracts SMILES!
Next up…..I had a fun “Blast Off To Kindergarten” Breakfast for Zachariah when he woke up!

I had fun making him a fun lunch for his first day!


Then….he was READY to go!

Watch Out Kindergarten……

here I come…and in perfect timing got his last book from the Dollywood Foundation recently.

Zachariah has been getting a book every month since he was born from the Dollywood Foundation because the Indian Tribe he is a member of is a participant in her Imagination Library program!
Thank you Dolly, we appreciate you and your passion of early literacy for young learners!
Today, Zachariah busted out of preschool in style…and guess what???  I had my camera with me but did not have the memory card in it:( So we go these pictures when we got back home from the festivities!

Race On Over….

to celebrate Zachariah’s 5th lap! We celebrated Zachariah’s birthday at a nearby pool with lots of friends, family and LIGHTNING MCQUEEN!

His amazing cake was another fabulous creation of Sarah from Sweet Art Bakery. I was able to purchase it very reasonably because earlier this year I bought a groupon for the cake. Groupons can save you lots of money on great products and restaurants in your area.  Check it out here.

Celebrating Thanksgiving

Today, I was so blessed to be able to CELEBRATE Thanksgiving at a Thanksgiving Feast with Zachariah’s Pre-K class:) He was allowed 2 guest and although he choose “Mrs. Vicki and her cat” He got stuck with Mom instead of the cat!

I love that his teacher ask the guest to sit down first and the kids LEARNED how to serve others first!

Such a great lesson he learned today!

He sang a precious little song.

And those of you who know how I love to throw a party…..know that I so appreciate the detail his teacher put into our table:)

I am so THANKFUL for his sweet school and teacher who do such an amazing job teaching him!
