Easter Sunday 2013

Easter Sunday is especially exciting this year. It is our very first Sunday in the new children’s building and Worship Center at First Baptist Dallas. We have been watching construction for 3 years!

We are so very excited to be in our new space to learn about Jesus every week!

Before Easter we took some fun Easter pictures with the ever so talented Chelle Cates!

Finger Food Feast

Today is “Thursday Church” Let me explain…I have a very very very part time job at my church coordinating a wonderful ministry for new and expectant families called “Great Expectations” I spend about 4-5 hours on Thursdays making contacts with new baby families, matching each expectant mom with an encourager, recruiting encouragers and my favorite is making baby visits after the baby has been born. So….what are my kids doing during this 4-5 hours??? They love playing with their friends at “Kids Day Out at the Cove”. Today their classes had a Finger Food Feast in Celebration of Thanksgiving Holidays. The fun thing for me…was that all 3 kids were able to celebrate together and so I didn’t have to go to multiple classrooms!

Happy Birthday Jesus!

The kids went to a Birthday Party for Jesus Friday night while Mom and Dad went to two Christmas Parties...AKA...A GROWNUP DATE! All day long..Z would ask about the much anticipated Birthday Cake! And LJ's Christmas Tee didn't last for too long at the party. Oh well....The best news is I fit back into one of my favorite pre-baby party outfits! LOL!

Church Thanksgiving Feast

Tonight I am thankful that I did not have to cook. Our church had a wonderful Thanksgiving Feast. A wonderful time of fellowship, food, and friends.
