The adventure started in an auditorium where a NASA Scientist was telling the children about how the moon was formed and what would be needed to for a trip to the moon. She showed video footage of a rocket taking off.
I was quite surprised that she held the children’s interest level as long as she did and was actually waiting for Levi to shout out “hey…God made the moon!” Ava did eventually have to go to the bathroom and we had to slip out early. As soon as we left the auditorium, I asked the children “who made the moon?” All 3 in unison said God!
Our next stop was the Robotics room….the boys loved it!
Ava was not so sure…….
And our last stop was the craft room where they had lots of tables set up with various paper aircraft materials for the children to make.
It was an extremely well organized event, lots of adult help, and fun was had by all!
